Hi friends :)

Thanks for stopping by, and boy it feels good to be creating again!!
I have created a card for WCMD and officially, its over! LOL

But I have been working hard all evening to get this posted and its finally ready!!

Late or not here it is. Wholla!

I am kicking off my craftiness with another fun sketch from Rae's blog!

Its funny that my last post last year was a sketch with Rae!!!

Funny how things happen like that.....huh? :)

Good to be Back!

Hello friends and family!!

After almost a year off from making cards and major changes in my life, I am happy to say that I am finally back! I missed all of you very much and it was difficult to put my creativity on hold for so long. But in life things change as do people change and grow. I used this time to reflect on my life and do some much needed soul searching. Now that I have done those things, I have felt the need to get back into my creative groove and share and express my love for crafts with all of my blogging friends and of course with family and friends. The return to my blog will be slow going at first, since I have lots of work to do to get ready to create, but I wanted you all to know that I have missed you and thought about you all over this last year and am looking forward to re-connecting with you all again. Thanks for following and supporting me and thanks for the inspiration to get me creating again! I have looked at some of the latest posts and what my friends have been up to while I was gone and it makes me want to get in my craft room and soar right along with you!!!! :)
And I have to say....ITS SO GOOD TO BE BACK!

~A Christmas Card & Sketch with Rae~

Hi friends!!

Happy Sunday.

I have been looking at some amazing blogs and

been feeling so inspired!!

I found a fun sketch with some awesome blog candy

over at Rae's Blog.!!!!

She has a blog that I definatly stalk regularly & keep on my sidebar!

She has created a sketch and asked us to make a

Christmas Card with non traditional colors.

(No red or green)

So I deciced to play along!!

Here is her sketch:

For my Christmas Card I used some DCWV dp

and chose a blue, brown, and white color palet.

I cut out a Spellbinders bird and created a flower with

Spellbinders, Snowflake dies.

I added some SU! Stamps and some Prima Bling.

I used an EK Success punch for the scallops.

I just love my non-traditional Christmas card.
It's hard to see in the pic but its really sparkley!

~Celebrating WCMD~

Happy WCMD!

It's a great time to celebrate my love of card making

and to share and inspire, while also kicking off the start of

the holiday season!! :)

I have been enjoying some vacation time with

my hubby and really enjoying the cooler weather.

It's feeling like Fall here and to make

it even better, my kit from The Scrapbook Nook

came filled with Fall inspiration!!

Wahoooooo!

This kit is filled with goodies that I just HAD

to play with right away!

Both of my cards are made using all ingrediants from my kit.

The dp is from lilybee designs, Catching Fall collection.

For my first card I used 3 layers of dp,

punched the edges with a ek success punch

and I made a matching flower with my Spellbinders

Peony Dies and also added a Basic Grey,

Bloomer for the center.

The sweet birdie is also from the kit,

it's a jillibean soup kraft die.

Sooooo cute!

I added sizzix leaves, buttons, twine, and some pretty lace.

The sentiment is SU!

For my second card I used more of the kits dp

from lilybee design.

The main focal point is of course the huge flower die,

also from jillibean soup.

I added a smaller cut out to give the flower depth.

I inked up the dp and flower and stamped a SU! flourish stamp,

from the Elements of Style set for more elegance!!

I added Fall leaves from my Spellbinders dies

and some pearls and stick pins.

The birdie is also from jillibean soup

and the sentiment is SU! from the Holiday Best set.

~September Card Celebration~

Hi friends and fellow crafters!

I have been enjoying this busy month of September!

Lots of birthday's this month, including mine,

and I have been celebrating great friends, good food and

of course my love of cards!

Just thought I would share some of my cards since

I am on vacation this week. :)

Hubby and I have decided to stay around the house this vacation.

We usually go somewhere, but this time we have decided to stay

close to home and I am enjoying being lazy and crafty!

This is the card I made for my son's girlfriend, Lauren.

Her birthday was Saturday.

I used dp from My Minds Eye So Sophie.

This collection of dp is soo yummy!

I also used some SU! twine, brads and stamps.

I inked everything up for a Vintage feel with Tim Holts

Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I made the layer of flowers with my new

Spellbinders Peony Flower dies.

I also used a Prima flower and a Dragonfly brad.

The leaves are cut out with a Sizzex die and layered.

For my next card I used this fun sketch from the

very talented, Jenyfur, and made a b-day card

for my friend Patti.

Her birthday is the same day as mine!! :)

We celebrated at Olive Garden with Pumpkin Cheesecake!

Yummo!

For Patti's card I used bright colors from SU! dp.

I embossed some of the dp at the top and added some

yummy ribbon, big brad, flowers, and leaves from some Sizzix Dies.

I topped it off with crystals and an SRM Sticker as my sentiment.

(Patti LOVED her card btw!)

Happy Sunday Friends!

I hope your enjoying the last part of the weekend.

I have had a stressful one.....to say the least.

Thank goodness I have my craft therapy to keep me sane!

If I did not have this hobby as an outlet,

I think I would go CRAZY!!!

Ugh!

Tonight I want to share my CardPatterns card with you.

This sketch was great fun and sooo many ideas ran through my head!!

For my card I used some fun DP from Lily bee designs,

The Savannah Collection.

This dp is so bright and pretty.

I also used some Kraft paper and I think it all looks fab together.

I used a MS punch and made my flowers with layered Sizzix dies.

The center of the flowers are from Michael's.

The sentiment is SU! and I used my markers to

ink it and up to match the dp.

I added a Butterfly die from SU!, some bling and yellow ribbon.

~Caardvarks & Tiffany Doodles Sketch Challenge~

I am so excited to share my cards with you tonight!!

Caardvarks has teamed up with Tiffany Doodles and

added some fun sketches from the oh-so talented, Heidi Van Laar!

I could not wait to play along!

Tiffany Doodles is a fun place full of talent, inspiration, and freebies!

I was somewhat nervous since I have very little experience with digi stamps.

But I chose this awesome (and free) Sunflower from Tiffany Doodles Blog

that made it so much fun to work with!!

Thanks Tiffany! :)

For my card I followed Heidi's Sketch and used some

dp from DCWV Autumn Stack.

This paper was perfect because I wanted to use Fall colors

and give it a country feel.

I also used dp from Crate Paper's, Restoration Collection.

I printed out 3 flowers and colored them all with various markers.

I used 2 of the flowers on the card and popped them with SU! Dimensionals.

I also added an SRM Sticker for the sentiment.

For my Scrapling Card I used dp from the same packs

and the 3rd flower that I colored.

These scrapling cards are so fun to make!!

The leaves are cut out with my CB and Sizzix Leaves dies.

I just had to use another SRM Sticker on my smaller card!!

*(I heart SRM Stickers)*

I embossed some of the dp and leaves.

Here is my set together.

Soooo pretty!

I love how those flowers just pop!

Tiffany has some great digi stamps that she creates

herself and this sunflower was made from a picture that she took.

You have to be sure to go check out her work!

It's simply amazing!!

Well........

this is really my first real stab at making a digi stamp card

and I have to say.....I love the results!!

If you get a chance to play along with the Carrdvarks crew,

it is a lot of fun and there is soo much inspiration over there!

Including some beautiful work from my talented SIL, Nathalia!

I am so glad to see her crafting again!!

Hi there friends!!

A quick post tonight.....

I wanted to share my Fancy Tags with you!

I have been addicted to making these.

It is so fun and I love assembly lines in my crafting.

I have been making my way up to Hobby Lobby

quite a bit lately. :)

They started having more Spellbinders in stock.

And that makes me so very happy!!

I recently purchased Labels Eight.

I know right?

I should have had this one already!!

This set of dies are big and so versatile!

I love this paper pack from DVWV, The Black Curran.

The papers are rich and embossed and full of beauty and elegance!

The flowers and leaves are Sizzix/SU! dies.

I also added some Spare Parts Velvet Brads in

black and white to the center of the flowers.

I also added Me and My Big Ideas Chipboard

Flourishes to each of the tags.

The sentiment is from SU! Happy Everything set.

The small tags are from the Fancy Tags Spellbinders dies.

Hi there!

I thought I would share a card that I made for my hubbys friend, Al.

It is his Birthday today and they celebrated it with

him today at work by having lunch and ice cream.

Happy Birthday Al!

For his card I used sei Moravia dp and Lables 3 Spellbinders dies.

I also used some SU! dp and embossed some of the paper

with a Houndstooth CB Folder.

I cut out the Spellbinders Fall Leaves, embossed them

and inked them up a bit with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Inks.
The sentiment is from SU! Define Your Life set.

(I used the Be Original Definition)

The leaves are stamped with the leaf from the Great Friend set.

The antique buttons are from my stash.

Hope you like my card!

My husband said Al really loved it. :)

He liked the one I made him last year too.....

I just can't recall which one that was!

Oh well.....at least he's happy with his cards!

~CardPatterns Sketch 79~ A kind word is like a Spring Day~

Happy Monday friends!

I hope the beginning of your week has been good!

Mine has started out with Jury Duty.

I am a little stressed out this evening, have to admit.

It was a super long day and not sure how long

my "call to duty" will last! :)

Don't get me wrong, I am happy to do it......

I just stress out having to go anywhere near the Downtown area.

But I prevailed!!!

We shall see what happens tomorrow.

I have to go to another facility and then who knows.

I will share the whole adventure with you guys

when I have finished my mission for the great state of OK!

I want to share my CardPatterns Sketch card with you tonight.

This sketch has soooo many possibilities!

For my card, I decided to use these fun SU! Stamps from

A Kind Word Stamp Set.

I was intimidated by these stamps I do have to say.....

if you guys know my style, I do not do much coloring.

That is why I decided to go for it and challenge myself!

I have these great new Embossing Markers that I have been itching to use.

What perfect stamps to try them out on!!!

I used pretty SU! Raspberry Lemonade dp

and embossed some of the papers with the

SU! Final Press Embossing Folder.

Soooo pretty!

I cut out all of the flowers and layered them using Sizzex Dies

and added rhinestones by MS.

I added a butterfly from the Buttiful Wings Sizzix/SU! dies

and finished it off with pom pom fibers.

Well.....what do you think of my sweet card?
I think it's just perfect for a little girl.
And I think I know who that sweet little girl will be!

~Vintage Circle Tags for All Occasions~

Hi there friends!

I am sharing some Circle Vintage Tags

that are perfect for any occassion!

I have been LOVING creating these tags.

They are easy to mass produce and so fun!!

I thought this time around I would create some

circle tags for that special someone. :)

The dp that I used for these vintage beauties

is from K & Companys Ancestry paper pack.

These papers are so soft and just scream vintage!

All of the tags have SU! Stamps used from

Teeny Tiny Wishes, Great Friend and 3 Little Words stamp sets.

These sentiments fit so well into my new

Spellbinders, Fancy Tags.

I was so happy that Hobby Lobby started stocking

in some new Die Cuts!

I also got some new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Embossing Folders there.

Yummo!

For my tags I used the Regal Flourishes Folder.

It is so gorgeous! :)

I also used some Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink

and SU! Champange Mist for the flowers.

I added SU! Antique Brads and some pearls to the tags also.

I used SU! Ribbon for the top of the tags.

The flowers are Prima and a Die Cut that I

made using Sizzix Flower #4.

I think they are gorgeous and fun and sure

to brighten someones day! :)

I am back and ready to blog!!

I know that I have been MIA for a while.....

and I have not been creating and blogging like I should.

But I guess I will call the last several weeks some what of

a "blogging vacation". :)

But I promise that I am back and ready to share,

I had so much fun making these and I was inspired by

my very talented SIL, Nathalia. :)

She used her Spellbinders dies to make some fun tags

on her blog and I used her tutorial to create mine.

I also broke out my new DP from DCWV called

The Black Currant. This paper is soooo pretty!

I also used SU! stamps sets, Holiday Best and Great Friend.

and the leaves were made with the SU! Sizzlits Little Leaf.

It has been record braking heat here in Oklahoma.

I have to say mine is pretty good so far!! :)

I want to share a card with you this evening.

I LOVE me some Card Patterns sketches

and it has been forever since I have played along.

This sketch was so yummy and I just had to join in!!!

For my card I used all things SU!

I used a color combo that I just LOVE

and added SU! Stamps and Card stock.

I embossed the paper with an SU! and Sizzix

Embossing folder, Final Press.

This folder is sooo pretty!

I stamped the flowers and cut them out.

They are from the Eastern Blooms Set.

The pretty leaves are SU! and Sizzlits Little Leaves.

They are just the perfect little leaves!

The butterfly is stamped twice and popped off the paper.

I cut out the circle and scallop circle with Spellbinders Dies.

I inked up the paper with Tim Holtz Distress ink.

I added rhinestones in red and blue.

I am in love with this card!

I love playing with all of my SU! goodies.

If it's anything like mine.......it's a blur!

Time has been flying by lately that is for sure!!

I wanted to share some Father's Day cards with you tonight.

Do you have special plans with your dad on Sunday??

For this card I used some stickers and dp from s.e.i.

This dp is so masculine.

I added some rope fiber and twine and kept it very simple.

The Happy Father's Day Sentiment is SU!

I made this card for a Marine who is having a b-day today.

Happy Birthday Brandon :)

It was masculine so I added in this post.

It's made with dp from CS and stickers from K&Co.

I used a stars embossing folder for the background.

This card is made with some of my fav SU! Stamps.

I added markers and some chalks to the image.

The dp is from s.e.i.

~Cards Blog Floral Paper Challenge~

Sorry I have not posted much this week.

I have been busy with work, friends and crafting!!

I had quite a few Father's Day card orders and

have been busy trying to get everything done for next weekend.

I wanted to share my card with you that I made last week

and thought it was perfect for Cards Blog Challenge

last week to use Floral paper.

Paige was so sweet to showcase my card!!

Here is my card.

I used dp from the Paper Studio and SU! stamps and chalks.

This dp is so pretty and I love the way this card turned out.

It has a vintage feel and I think these stamps from

SU! are just perfect!

I added lace and pearls and a MS punch

and an EK Sucess punch.

I also inked it up a bit with some Tim Holtz Distress ink.

~A Challenge with Friends, Just 2~

Happy Sunday to you!! :)

I have had a marvelous and relaxing weekend

playing and sleeping!!

I got alot accomplished in my craft room this weekend.

My co-worker, Sabrina needed several cards for b-days

and for Father's Day, so I got busy!

I am not sharing those cards tonight though.....

I have a Challenge with Friends post tonight!

There are only 2 cards in this card share because life

happens and only Christina and I were able to play.

Lana.....has unfortunately moved back to Montana.

We are sooo sad about that! We will miss her!!!

Hopefully she is stalking my blog like she said she would....

Jane was affected in the May 10th.

tornadoes we had here in Oklahoma and her craft

room is in a state of repair as is other parts of her house.

But thankfully her and her family are ok!

Missy has been busy since we had a bad Hail Storm

a few weeks ago and had damage to her home and car.

Thankfully she is ok too!

It has been crazy around here in Oklahoma with weather.

Now it's just plain ol' hot!

But we will take that over hail the size of softballs and tornado's!!

Right???

For this challenge we used the colors:

Brown. Orange, Green, and Cream.

We also had a fun sketch.

I used my Cuttlebug for the circles and

my new Optic Dot punch by MS.

I embossed the background with a QuicKutz folder.

Those cute birdies are from Stampendous

and the sentiment is SU!

She used SU! dp and her Cuttlebug for her window.

LOVE that!

She also used a MS punch and made her flowers

to coordinate with the color combo!

Hi and happy Tuesday!

It sure feels like Monday to me today. ugh!

But tomorrow is Wednesday and we are on our way to

another weekend! Wahooooo!

I wanted to share a card with you that I made for my

mother's friend that turned 90 this past Sunday.

I did not know her personally but my mom said she is full of life

and a very sweet woman.

For her card I used some K&Co. dp.

This yummy dp made it sooo easy to make such a beauty!

I added flowers, stick pins, butterflies and some lace.

So pretty and rich looking!

I love the they way it turned out!

Happy Birthday Ruby!!

I am glad I was part of her celebration in a small way!

Card Patterns Sketch 65 ~ Moose You So Much~

It's Thursday and the 3 day weekend is coming up.

YES! Finally!

I am so very ready for some family time and a few days off!

I wanted to share the latest Card Patterns Sketch

with you tonight. I had great fun with this sketch.

I also made this card for the latest challenge over at Cards Blog.

Paige was asking for "punny" cards......

How fun is that???

I just couldn't wait to play!!

Here is the sketch at CardPatterns.

For my card I used some cute My Minds Eye, Quite Contrary Dp.

I also used some fun SU! Stamps.

The Sentiment reads: "Moose you so much".

That is perfect for the "pun" card challenge!!

I stamped that cute Moose twice and paper pieced him.

He is so darn cutie! :)

I even did some hand stitching on this card!

I added a chunky button, twine, Prima flower,

and some fun brads.

Soooo adorable! :)

I am so excited tonight to finally find the

I had a great Mother's Day weekend

and even found some time to squeeze in some

crafting with my talented SIL, Nathalia.

and yummy fibers and decided to get crafty!

I always LOVE crafting with my sistah girl!

She is full of ideas and it tends to rub off me.....

4 Special Mothers~ Mother's Day Card Share~

It's almost the weekend!

Time to celebrate our Mom's!!

I made 4 very different Mother's Day cards

for some friends to give to their moms!!!

Oh yea...and the card I made for my mom too!

They are all very different and unique!

This one is for Christi's mom.

She wanted Spring colors and flowers.

Well, I had the perfect dp for this card!!

I used my new Scrapbook Nook Kit and

October Afternoon Fly a Kite paper!!

I added scallops and Prima flowers, SU! Ribbon

and MM brads.

Screams Spring and Love you mom!

Right?? :)

Next up is a card for Sabrina's, boyfriends mom.

She wanted very pretty, girlie card.

I used SU! dp and cut out some butterflies, added bling,

and some yummy pleated ribbon!

This card is for Sabrina's mom.
She wanted me to use pink but she didn't want it too girlie.
I cut out circles and used SU! dp.
I added some Corduroy brads and primas.
I also inked it up a bit and embossed it.
Very sweet and soft!

This last card is for my mom.
My mom loves bling and flowers and bright colors!
So this one has all of her favs!
The corners are glitter corners! YUMMO!
I made the flower and added brads and bling.
I embossed the SU! dp.

She will adore her Mother's Day card!

I am loving this weather we are having

and I have been crafting most of the weekend!

That makes me happy as pie!

I have a card to share tonight that I made playing

along with CardPatterns Sketch 62.

This sketch is great fun! :)

For my card I used Pink Paislee, Bayberry Cottage Collection dp.

I even broke out my Cricket to make that BIG circle and

I hand stitched around the edges with Ivory Floss.

I made the stitches un-even on purpose.

Love the effect of it!

I used my Bazzill In Stitch'z Circle Stitch Template.

This is a great tool to help you with stitching!!

I cut out the flowers with my Cuttlebug and Quickutz Nesting Dies.

These flowers are so fun and so addictive to make!

I embossed it and the strip in the background.

I used MM Rub-On's for my Sentiment.

The leaf is also a Quickutz Die Set.

I added some peals and a SU! Corduroy Brad.

So pretty don't ya think??
I LOVE these colors together.
The look is very clean.

Ok....so enough yapping....on to my post for today.

I have had lots of fun with the challenge over at

Caardvarks for monochromatic cards so I decided

to make one with the color Yellow!!

I dug through my paper stash and found me some

Core'dinations paper that my sister in law, Nathalia

gave me a while back. Yay! (Thanks Girl!)
I also wanted to use my new Hero Arts Stamp.

This Owl is the cutest!!

The dp for the background is from The Paper Studio.

I used my SU! punch and some rub-on stitching.

I stamped the flower twice to make it pop and

colored it in with Martha Stewart markers.

I also added some Dew Drops, twine, raffia,

a button and some leaves I punched out from another MS punch.

I distressed the paper because I could not resist!

Core'dinations paper is made to distress!!

I LOVE this paper!!!! :)

It's Tuesday and I am excited to share a card with you tonight. :)

Caardvarks has teamed up with Core'dinations

for a Monochromatic Card Challenge!

For my monochromatic card I chose the color blue.

I used some distressing and some SU! Stamps.

I created a beautiful, layered butterfly and added some

Martha Stewart ribbon and one of her punches.

Also, a few brads and a Prima flower.

I also pierced the paper around the flourish.

Hi everyone!

Hope your weekend has been great!

I have been fighting a little bug, but feeling better today.

I have to post this fast!!

I only have like another hour and this challenge will be over.

Kristina Werner has challenged us to create a 1 Layer card.

OH NO!

This is so difficult for all of us as we want to layer and add

all kinds of paper and stuff to our cards.

I decided to use some Kraft dp and emboss my card with

my new SU! Textured Impressions, Manhattan Flower

embossing folder.

This is such an elegant folder and looks just beautiful!

I also inked up the flowers just a bit with a sponge and some

Tim Holtz Distressing ink in Tattered Rose and Tea Dye.

I stamped a sentiment for Mother's Day with

a stamp from Stampendous!

I added some lace and 2 pearls to finish off my card.

I love this card!

What I can share today is my take on

Card Patterns Sketch 61.

This is a simple and fun sketch and I decided to flip it

and make a pretty paper flower.

I used S.E.I dp from the Chick-a-doo line.

This dp is so sweeeet! :)

I also used my new QuicKutz Nesting Flowers for my bloom.

I cut out the flowers and then curled and layered them.

The stem is cut from QuicKutz Leaf and Branch set.

I embossed the brown SU! dp with a large dots folder

using my Cuttlebug.

The sentiment and scallop punch are SU!

~SRM Sticker Circle Challenge My Second Card~

It has been raining cats and dogs here in Oklahoma City.

I love the rain for a day or so....and then I am done.

It has been coming down since Friday!

It has made me lazy and sleepy!!

Ugh!

I have another card to share with you today for the

SRM Sticker Circle Challenge. :)

I LOVE these stickers and love this new dp from

DCWV called Garden Party.

Yum!

I added some fun EK Success Borders, some SU! ribbon,

and my SU!/Sizzlet Butterfly dies.

~~~~~

I punched out a scalloped circle in the front of the card

to create a little window.

I then cut out a smaller circle and added a "Miss You"

SRM sticker to the middle of the scalloped window.

So fun, pretty, and so easy! :)

Whatcha-think?

I love the sweetness and simplicity of this card.

I think it's a beautiful "Miss You" card.

You will be so inspired!

For my card I wanted to make something very special

for my friend Janet.

Today was her last day to work with us.

Her career path is changing course.

She has touched our lives with her strength and her courage.

I really will miss her and she will always have a

special place in my heart.

I used my SRM Sticker set, Live Life- Think Pink.

These stickers are filled with awareness for Breast Cancer

and since Janet is a Breast Cancer survivor,

I made this special card for her so she will always

remember what she means to me.

I punched out the circles with my SU! circle punch

and also used my scallop punch and made these cute flowers

with the stickers as the centers.

I also used my SU! Top Note Die for the background,

a couple other border punches, some lace,

Prima Bling, and I added a couple peal stick pins to

complete her card.

~~~~

This card has all of Janet's favorite things
but it also shows her how she has touched our lives
with her Faith, Love, Hope and just living her Life.
~~~~~
I will miss working with you Janet and I want all of the best
for you and for your future.
Your a blessing and a true inspiration of what it means to
SURVIVE!

Card Patterns Sketch 59 ~ Hey Baby~

Happy Sunday to you!! :)

I have missed you guys sooo very much this past week.

Sooo much has been going on in my life and

I just find it so hard lately to make a card.

But hopefully that will all be changing very soon!

I would love to really jump into my SU! business

and create and blog, blog, blog!!!

Hopefully I will find more time to juggle all of the

things that I want to do this year!! :)

But in the meantime....thanks for being patient with

me and thanks for not forgetting about me!!

You guys are the BEST!

Since yesterday was hubby's b-day, I spent the day

with him and didn't get to the crafting table.

But today I made some time for a Sketch over at Card Patterns!

You know how much I love Card Patterns Sketches and I just

couldn't wait to play! :)

This sketch is simple with so many possibilities!

I broke out my March, Scrapbook Nook Kit and went to town!

I used all of the dp and fun die cut stickers from

My Minds Eye- Quite Contrary -Little Boy Blue- line.

This set is so fun and just screams Baby!

I also added some rub on stitching from DCWV, a felt star,

some SU! ribbon, and letters from October Afternoon

for my sentiment.

I love the colors and the fun line of dp and sticker dies!

It's great fun and just makes a perfect Baby Card!

~Cards Blog Easter Card Challenge~

glad it is over!

and I was so happy to see my cards showcased!! :)

I used some of my Easter SRM Stickers for the first card.

LOVE these stickers!! :)

I also used K&Co dp and some yummy, purple lace

along with my fav EK Success Punch.

Oh yea....and a Butterfly Spellbinders die.

My second card uses dp from that same line,
some embossing, EK Success Punch, bling and SU! Sentiment.

These cards were sweet and simple.
I made these Easter cards for my hubby's co-workers.
The ladies loved them!! :)

We are getting packed and ready to take a trip
down to Lawton to see family this weekend.
I am looking forward to watching my nephews
hunt eggs, and enjoy family and eat some good food!

~Sunday Stampin Up! Cards~

Happy Sunday ladies!!

How is your weekend going so far?

Do you have any plans today??

I am going to hang out with my son tonight

and watch WrestleMania over at his girlfriends house !! :)

Yes....I like Wrestling!!

It's fun entertainment and it

something me and my son can share together.

And the older he gets.....any chance to spend with

him is good, quality, time...and I will take it!! :)

Yesterday was my personal crafting time and I put together

a few SU! cards using the Herb Expressions Stamp Set.

This set comes with 8 stamps that coordinate together.

It's a great set and I love the versatility of of!

Here is my first card using the Thyme Stamp.

All dp, ribbon and the punch are SU!

I cut out the shapes with my Cuttlebug

and used Spellbinders dies for the shapes and my

American Krafts Markers, but everything else is SU! :)

Here is my second card:

I used the Rosemary Stamp on this card.

This is some of my fav SU! dp.

It's so soft and pretty.

The Jewel drops are from my girl Crystal.

Thanks GF! :)

For my third card I used the Basil Stamp and all SU!

dp and added some pearls from The SU! Pretties Kit

to drape the SU! Scallop Punch.

I also added some cute white flowers to accent the ribbon.

Here are all 3 of them together.

They are all so different even though I used

the same stamp set!! LOVE that!

~Cards Blog 8 Colors Challenge~ Happiness~

Happy Saturday everyone! :)

I am so glad that the weekend is here and

I am excited to share a card with you this am

that was posted on Cards Blog!! :)

The challenge was to use 8 colors on your card.

I decided to break out my Basic Grey Origins dp and go to town!!

There are soooo many yummy colors and patterns in this line.

I added several different dp and die cuts to my card.

I also added some lace, a couple yummy Prima Flowers,

some distressing and a SU! Sentiment.

~Cardvarks Lacy Days Challenge~ Just For You~

Hi everyone. :)

How have you been?

I have been crazy busy and seriously neglecting

my poor blog and I have missed you guys!!

I hope your all doing well and I promise to catch up

on your beautiful blogs this weekend when I can

find some "Kimmie" time!!

I did make time tonight to play in the current

Caardvarks Challenge.

I really didn't want to miss this one since it's all about Lace! :)

That's right! It's Lacy Days at Caardvarks

and I LOVE me some lace and I have tons of it. :)

For my creation I used some goodies from my

Scrapbook Nook March Kit.

It has the yummiest Pink Paisley dp.

I used the Front Porch Collection for my card.

All the dp is from that line.
It is sooo pretty and the colors are so rich.
I made the 1/2 flower using my Cuttlebug
and Create a Flower die cuts.
I embossed the blue petals for texture.
I added some lacy, polka dot ribbon,
my Diamond Scallop Punch by EK Success

and I trimmed the scallops with pearls,
a chunky black button topped off with a SU! Pearl,
and an SU! Sentiment--Just For You.

This card is filled with some of my fav colors
and patterns and I love the outcome. :)

I truly have missed you guys and I promise that
you will be seeing me around this weekend.

Don't forget that I have been planning some
fun and candy here on my blog....
And I can't wait to share with you all!!

How is your weekend going??

For us.....we are snowed in for our first days of Spring.

Lots and lots of snow. It's unbelievable!

Hopefully it will be the last of it.....I am over it!

Here is the latest Challenge with Friends.

We used a color combo and a sketch.

We also had to use Ribbon and the letter "R".

I know...a lot of stuff huh?

But let me tell ya...these girls are stepping it up

and making some beauties!!

First up is Christina's card:

She used a transparency and I love the over all look of her card.

Very pretty!!

I used some Stampin Up stamps.

I stamped the butterfly twice and embossed it.

I added some rub-ons and bling and

used my SU! Scallop punch.

~SRM Sticker Baby Card Challenge~

Happy Tuesday you guys!!

I hope your having a great week so far....

I am coming down with a nasty ole' cold and

feeling kinda yucky right now.

But my sweet hubby picked me up some meds

at the store and hopefully they will at least keep

me in an upright position! lol

I have lots of important things to do!!

Speaking of that.............. :)

I wanted to share a couple cards that I made this past weekend

with my new shipment of SRM Stickers.

My girl Jenyfur told me how awesome these stickers

were....and boy was she ever right!!!

SRM Stickers Blog is having a Baby Card Challenge

this month and I just had to play!

These are seriously the best quality stickers that I

have ever used!! They are amazing!! :)

I had to make a baby boy and a baby girl card.

For my boy card I used the "baby boy" sentiment

and cut out the circle with my SU! Circle punch

I also used the "precious baby" sentiment along the border.

I cut out the stars using my SU! Star punch.

I used some yummy Prima dp and some SU! ribbon.

(oh yea....and added my new watermark!) :)

For my girl baby card I used the
"Welcome little one" sentiment.
The dp on this card is also Prima and so is that cute flower.
I added some rick rack and a Pink Pearl Prima Flourish. (Yum!)
I cut out 3 different shapes of butterflies
using Spellbinders and my Cuttlebug.
The border was made with an
EK Sucess Diamond Scallop punch.

Well....Jen was right! These SRM Stickers ROCK!
They are of the up most quality and look amazing!

~Card Patterns Sketch 55~ Thyme for Happiness~

Happy Sunday to you!

I am having a nice and quiet day enjoying my

crafting time and all of my new toys!! :)

I thought I would join in on the fun over at

Cards Patterns and play along with their sketch.

It's a fun sketch and I kept my card very simple

and used a new SU! punch that I just got. :)

The stamp is from the set Herb Expressions.

I colored it in with some markers and added some DP

from K&Co. I added some pearls and some felt ribbon.

Oh yea.....can you see my new awesome Watermark???
I had a heck of a time getting that on there....lol
but I finally did it! whew!!

~Caardvarks Photo Inspiration Challenge~

That only means one thing.....

tomorrow is Friday and I am ready for the weekend!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo challenge they are

having over at Caardvarks right now....

so I had to play!!!

I love the colors and the bird cages are divine!

Birds are my fav right now.

And anyone who knows me,

knows how much I {heart} me some butterflies! :)

So......here is my take on that yummy photo!
The DP is Ann Griffin and this paper is so beautiful.
The dp behind it is K&Co. and I used it to add the soft
touch of blue that is the in the photo...(the birdie)
I used my Cuttlebug and cut out the scalloped circles
and added my bird that I received in a Scrapbook Nook Kit.
Isn't he the cutest!?
The ribbon is from SU! and the butterflies were cut with
a Spellbinders Die and I added blue pearls to them.
The sentiment under the bird is also from SU!

~CPS Sketch 157 Part 1~

Hi everyone!!

Happy Monday :)

Hope yours was better than mine.....

Mine was filled with a full schedule of patients at work then

I got caught in the rain on my lunch break after my umbrella

broke because of gail forced winds.....

so I got drenched in a down pour and had

to go back to work and look like a drowned rat

for the rest of my work day!!

And let me tell you....this Diva.....

does not do rain!!! :) lol!

So I am glad that I am home and warm

and I am soooo ready to put this Monday behind me!

I am playing along with my very first

CPS Card Sketch!! :)

I have been wanting to play along for quite sometime

and finally joined in on the fun!

I used some of my new K&Co. DP.

It's Krafty Goodness let me tell ya!!

I cut out the flowers from some of the patterned

Dp and added SU! corduroy buttons to the centers.

The sentiment is also SU! and cut out with SU! Circle Punches.

I added a new EK Success Border punch (Diamond Scallop)

and some yummy, brown velvet ribbon.

I inked everything up just a little with a sponge and

some Ranger Tea Dye Ink.

Well....my very first CPS Sketch!

Hope you like it!!

I will be making some changes to my blog and

adding some SU! links and examples very soon.

I am just getting the process started and it will

take me a bit to get going.

But I am excited about my new adventure

and want you all to be on the lookout for a lot of fun

Good morning and happy Sunday!!

I am soooo excited and I have been dying to

tell all of my blogging buds what my big news is.

I just wanted to wait until everything was official and

it is official as of last night....... yay! :)

I went to a SU! party yesterday and finally signed up!!

I am a Stampin Up Demonstator!

This is something that I have been thinking

about doing for quite sometime and I finally

took the SU! plunge!! :)

This is a fantastic company, as all of you know,

and I look forward to being part of this exciting team

of crafters, artists, and overall unique and exceptional product!

I will be doing a bit of a makeover on my blog

and gearing up to start my business off with a bang!

Tonight I have the latest Challenge With Friends

The challenge was to use Triangles and the Letter I.

We also used a fun sketch to mix things up a bit.

~Cards Blog Eyelets Challenge~

Happy Tuesday Ladies!

Hope your week is going great so far.

As for me....It's flying by!

I thought I would join in on the fun over at

Cards Blog and create a card using Eylets.

I don't know about about you guys,

but I have tons of eyelets and never seem to use

them anymore for some reason.

Well....I pulled some out along with my Crop-A-Dile

and some SU! stamps and went to town!!

The DP is DCWV Creme paper pack....

this dp is soooo yummy!

I stamped the flowers with Black Stazon Ink and cut them out.

I added eyelets to the center of them. :)

I added a new Spellbinders die with

some stickers for the sentiment and

some felt ribbon.

Very pretty....and I was able to use up some

of those eyelets!! :)

Embellish Magazine Borders & Color Challenge

Hi Everyone! Been a while huh?

I have been very busy with work and family and have

been neglecting my Blog and craft table big time.

But I am back and ready to create!!

I started with the new Embellish Border and Color Challenge.

What a fun color combo! :)

Oh...and you have to use Borders!

And the prize!? Verve Stamps! Yummy!!

For my card I used DCWV dp and my Cuttlebug.

Yes....another flower that I am addicted to making. (hehe)

I added some distress ink and stamped the petals with a SU! stamp.

I used my new Quickutz Vines Embossing folder for the

background of the card. LOVE that folder!

I cut the leaves out with my Quickutz leaf & branch Die set.

I added a couple Martha Stewart borders at the bottom

and some fun pink ribbon. The butterflies are also from Martha.

I added some pink and green bling to them and the center of the flower.

I had some scraps left over and made a mini card to match.
I cut out a butterfly from Spellbinders and added some more
bling and a border. So soft and pretty!! :)

SRM Stickers and my girl Jenyfur are back with

a fun monthly challenge!

Chipboard and stickers!! :)

I do not have any yummy SRM stickers yet,

but do hope to very soon.

So for my creation I used some

Martha Stewart stickers and some

chipboard from Archivers!!

The dp is from Prima...oh and surprise!

I made a flower!! lol!!

I added some suede cord and distressed the edges

and inked up the card and flower.

Be sure to look real close.....

there are blinged out leaves and I also added

some turquoise bling for a splash of color!!

Hi everyone.

It has been a true Monday around my house today....

starting my week off on a very stressful note.

I hope your day was much better than mine!

Anyhooo....

Card Patterns has a fun sketch this week and like I

told you in my previous post.....I am addicted to making

these yummy flowers and I will be using them a lot!

I wanted to create a vintage card with lots of character.

It is for a very special friend of mine who

had a birthday last Friday.

She is currently out of town but I am hoping

to see her very soon!!! :) yay!

I started with K&Co. dp and distressed the edges

and inked everything up real good.

There are 6 layers to the middle flower and I stamped

writing on all of the petals.

I embossed the darkest brown petal with my CB.

I found out how to create these flowers on You Tube

and I apologize that I did not save the link to share with you.

If I find it again I will be sure to post it!

You must try these flowers!!! :)

Here is a close up of how these darling flowers
just pop off the card! They are very beautiful!!
I added some brown corduroy brads from SU!
to the middles of all 3 flowers.
There is also a border in the background that I
punched out with an EK Success punch.
I added some Raffia and made a tag with an SU! sentiment.
I hope you love this card as much as I do!!
The colors are so rich and these flowers just
scream elegance and beauty!!
