~~Happy Halloween~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Sunday Everyone!
I am loving this long weekend that I have had.
It has been very quiet and rainy here in Oklahoma City.
I have been working on some baby shower invites
and I am almost finished.
I will share those with you later.....
Today I wanted to show you a Halloween card that
I made last week. I used my new dp from My Minds Eye
Spider Web collection. This Halloween paper is awesome!
It's rich and thick and full of color.
I also added a wood cut out that I bought
at Michael's in the Halloween section.
They are affordable and lots of fun on cards!
I inked it up and added some elements from
Recollections......another line of products from
Michael's. I love that store!
The black and grey ribbon is from
The Scrapbook Nook.
The crow is from MM Spellbound Halloween kit.
That was free at my new favorite scrapbooking store
in August when you spent over $25.00!!
Thanks for visiting today.
I am going to watch Big Brother.....:)
Happy Labor Day!
Dawn has a beautiful color challenge this week....
and with these yummy Fall colors, I just had to play!!
I started with a Cream card stock and added
Kraft as my focal color. I used some shimmer paper
that I had in my stash of paper for the Orange Gold.
It 's a perfect match!! :) I cut out the gold leaves with my
new Cuttlebug Dies that I bought at Michael's.
I also cut out squares and ran them through
Textiles CB folder to emboss them.
The Felt Chocolate Brown leave is from LYB.
The Cream Lace is from Scrapbooks from the Heart.
The button is from my stash and I added some twine
to the middle of it. The Sentiment reads:
Live, Laugh, Love.
~~Trick or Treat~~
Here are a couple Halloween Cards that I made yesterday.
I bought some new QuickKutz Embossing folders.
The Diamonds folder and The Halloween Folder.
They are so fun to work with!
I used the folders to emboss the images with my Cuttlebug
and then I inked them up with Tim Holtz Distress inks. I used
Tea Dye and Peeled Paint. I then sprayed them with
Glimmer Mist in Lily Pad Green.
I cut out the Bat and the Spider Web and the Spider.
I added some fun Halloween DP.
The big button is from Joanns Halloween Collection.
Well.....what do ya think??
I am loving playing with my Fall and Halloween stuff.
And to make it even better......the weather is also
cooperating here in Oklahoma City! It was Fall like
this morning when I woke up! Wahoooo! Bring it on!
I am ready for Football and Fall and the leaves changing!!
I love all of that stuff! Well....and it also means my birthday
is getting close! That is always a great time to celebrate!
Hope your Sunday is cool and filled with everything
you love also! Enjoy!! :)
A Challenge with Friends.....Week 2
Melissa and I have been playing around with our creativity
and challenging each other. This is the second week and Lana has joined
us as well! Now there are 3 of us and we will be taking turns picking
the challenges. Last week was Black and White and add a color.
My card was the card I posted for the CaardVarks Challenge.
Black & White and Hot Pink.
Missy's card is Black & White and she added Blue.
She also made a Template of an adorable butterfly!
Isn't it so cute?!! :)
She cute out the flowers with her Cuttlebug and added
some small black brads. It's just soo sweet Missy!
And here is Lana's card. She added a beautiful purple to her
Black & White creation!! She outlined the flowers with
Crystal Effects and added some beads and hearts.
So beautiful! This card is so soft and pretty!
I am so proud of both of my creative friends!
The challenge for this week is hosted by Lana.
It is to create a card, break it up in 3 different
sections, with something Green as the focal point.
WOW! She is getting right down to it huh?? LOL!
You go girl!! I am looking forward to seeing
what all of us come up with!
Stay tuned to check them out!!
Have a great Sunday!
Card Patterns Sketch 29 ~Spookey~
Card Patterns has a great sketch over on their blog!
The DT did anything but cards and had some great ideas
and some lovely creations! Be sure to check them out!!
For this fun sketch I decided to use my new Glimmer Mists
that I bought at my new favorite scrapbook store last weekend
and my wood pumpkins that I bought at Michael's.
I am so ready for Fall and changing leaves, pumpkins,
and Halloween. :)
The DP is Rusty Pickle Black Pearl/Cap'n Jack!
This paper is soooo awesome and fun!
I cut different strips of it and inked it up with Tea Dye
Vintage ink from Tim Holtz. I also used
Club Scraps Paisley dp. Some of my fav paper.
I them used my new Martha Stewart Punch and
punched out both sides of the dp.
Those yummy Flourishes are Grungeboard also from Tim Holtz.
I sprayed them with the Glimmer Mist in Coffee Shop Brown
and they look so awesome in person!
The pumpkin is wood, sprayed and blinged out.
The flower is made with different Primas and I also
added some leaves that punched out in the paisley dp
and made petals out of them to tie the whole card together.
Well....what do you think?? :)
I just love how festive it is and I wish you could see that
Glimmer Mist on the pumpkin and flourishes in person.
It is so beautiful!!
I hope your enjoying your week so far. Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to leave me a shout out!!
Tootles for now...... :)
